The memorial stone commemorates the Labor Party`s win in the 1904 federal election.
In 1904, W. H. Carpenter, MHR, the first labour representative for the Fremantle district in Federal Parliament, laid a memorial stone to commemorate the Party`s win in the 1904 Federal elections.
