Keswick Bridge
This plaque was unveiled on 27th October 1967 by the Hon. S. C. Bevan, M. L. C., Minister of Roads
To commemorate the official opening of the bridge by the Hon. Don Dunstan, Q.C., M.P., Premier of South Australia
The first bridge at this site, consisting of two spans, was constructed in 1911 for the South Australian Railways, who widened the bridge and constructed an additional span in 1927.
The present bridge was designed by the Highways & Local Government Department and was constructed on behalf of the Department by A. W. Baulderstone Pty. Ltd.
