Soldier Settlement Grove of Honour Print Page

A grove of trees commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Robinvale Soldier Settlement which was established after World War Two. The Grove extends along Latje Road between Loy and Ryan Roads.
Robinvale irrigation soldier settlement will be officially opened by Mr Galvin. Minister for Lands and Water Supply, tomorrow. He will be accompanied by Mr Fraser, Assistant Minister. Mr Galvin will also inspect the prefabricated homes being erected by the Housing Commission at the settlement. Later he will make an inspection of the Euston weir and lock.
