The Koorda Memorial Hall commemorates the pioneers of the district. 

The Hall was built to commemorate district pioneers and was opened by Hon. L. F. Kelly, M.L.A., Minister for Lands on the 9th August 1958. The Foundation Stone was laid on the same date by Road Board Chairman, Alex Aitken, J.P.
