This plaque is a tribute to the pioneers of the Pata District.
Commemorating 75 years since the arrival of the railway.
First train arrived at "Pata Siding" 8 Feb. 1914
Township proclaimed "Muljarra" 18 Nov. 1915
Renamed "Pata" 10 Oct. 1929
Dedicated at Pata Reunion 5 Feb. 1989.
