L`EmigrantePrint Page

Photographs supplied by Denis Binnion
The sculpture commemorates the Italian migrants who settled in the Riverland.
Most of the first-generation Italians who settled in the Riverland came from an agricultural background in Italy. They either had small mixed farms that were owned and run by the family or they had been share-farmers or farm labourers.
