This park was constructed as a Bicentennial project in memory of the pioneers, past and present of the Ardlethan District.
Funding was provided by the N.S.W. Government, Coolamon SHire Council, Coolamon Shire Bicentennial Community Committee and the citizens of Ardlehtan and District.
The park was officially opened by the Shire President Councillor H. W. Aitken on the 8th October, 1988
