Pioneer Memorial Print Page 
The plaque commemorates education in the area from 1857, the centenary of the Newstead Primary School # 452 in 1977, the first combined church services on the site in 1837 and was presented by the Australian Natives Association (A.N.A.) in honour of the pioneers of the district.
The plaque is located near the Old Tree in Tivey Street where the first combined church service was held.
