This cairn was erected by the Branxholme Progress Association in 2010
To recognise the pioneering families who settled in the Branxholme District between 1843 and 1900.
It is constructed from stone sourced from the homes of many of those pioneering families and funded by their descendants and the citizens of Branxholme and District
