A series of plaques commemorate the pioneers of Australian music, with many famous rock and roll performers named on the plaques set into the footpath the length of Bulcock Street.
Each star represents a member of the Australian and New Zealand music industry that have been honoured for their achievements and for the enjoyment they gave so many.
The Velvet Waters Restaurant in Caloundra is well known for its promotion of rock and roll.
