The plaque on the grave of Millicent Bryant, commemorates the first woman in Australia to gain an “A” private pilot licence in 1927. The plaque was unveiled on the 80th Anniversary. 

Just seven months after gaining her pilot`s licence in 1927, she was killed in the Greycliffe tragedy, when the passenger liner Tahiti ran over and sank the small ferry Greycliffe in Sydney Harbour on the 3rd November 1927.
