Mary Ogilvie

The sculpture depicting Jesus Christ as a child nursing a wounded dove, commemorates Mary Ogilvie who died in November 1947 aged 11 years.  She was born in Wiluna, and was physically disabled and unable to walk.

The statue was originally erected on the colonnade in the church grounds, but was moved inside the church recently for its protection.
