The replica "smithy`s shop" at the Churchill Island Heritage Farm commemorates Ron Hocking in appreciation of his excellent voluntary contribution as a Friends of Churchill Island Society (FOCIS) member over many years.

Ron Hocking died suddenly in 2005.
