The Keith Herriman Memorial Shed

This plaque is dedicated to the work and memory of Keith Thomas Merriman who died on 5 - 11 - 99.

He was responsible for the restoration of the motors found in this shed, which was affectionately known by him as "His Baby Shed".

His family were well known throughout the township of Charleville for their involvement in the automotive industry.

Members of the Herriman family were associated with the maintenance of the first aircraft flown by QANTAS from Charleville.

They were also involved with the mechanical repairs to the Vickers Vimy aircraft which landed in Charleville in 1919, that was flown by the Smith Brothers.
