Gladys Annie Johnston
29th July 1915 - 28th September 2004
Resident of the Cooloolabin community for 75 years.
A gentle lady who touched the hearts of those she met with her love and understanding.
A simple life of hard work and compassion for people and animals alike.
Who always put her own needs behind those of others.
She always had time to talk, listen, nurture, and comfort those who visited the friendly warmth of her farmhouse kitchen. She saw the best in everyone.
Through depression, war, change, progress, tears of joy, she loved, she gave, and was always there.
"Mum" to her family,
"Grams" to her grandchildren.
"Johnsie" to her friends.
Always remembered and sadly missed
