Horace Window Reserve

Carrington Rocks, Bisbane River, Corinda

In May 1984 Brisbane City Council named this reserve adjacent to Carrington Rocks "Horace Window Reserve" to recognise the dedication and untiring work of local resident, Horace Window.  In 1953 Horace Window was the Commodore and foundation member of the Carrington Boating Club.  He took pride in maintaining the reserve and was appointed its first honorary ranger.
