A bird fountain commemorates Paddy Hunt who was a friend to animals.
Paddy Hunt became a well-known figure around Campbelltown, often known as "friend of the strays". Regardless of the weather, every afternoon he searched the garbage cans in the commercial areas of Campbelltown for food scraps for stray animals. He moved to Campbelltown at the age of 14 and was killed crossing the road at the age of 81.
