The Brass plaque and clock, donated by the citizens of Braidwood and restored in 1986, is in appreciation of the services rendered to the district by the Hogg sisters.
Barbara Hogg died in 1941, Jane in 1947 and Agnes in 1953. Jane and Agnes were former teachers.
