The ground level memorial was set by the local RSL Sub Branch in recognition of the service and memory of Vincent Alan Daniels, Royal Australian Artillery, 2nd AIF, who was an active member. The cross is fronted by a plinth supporting a dedication plaque.
Monument characteristics :
A pebbled cross set and bordered by a concrete frame and located behind the Capella War Memorial.
