Alby South Print Page

Photographs supplied by Stephen Warren
The plaque recognises the contribution of Alby South to Kensington.
For over thirty years, Alby South worked to improve Kensington as a member of Kensington Resident's Association and also as a Kensington Ward Councillor in the former City of Kensington and Norwood for ten years.
He was instrumental in the establishment of Borthwick Park and the plaque is positioned in front of the River Redgum that he planted to mark his 80th birthday in 2000.
Note : The plaque has been removed and only the plinth remains.
