This tree has been planted to commemorate Graham King for his thirty three years of service to Camden Council and the wider community of Camden.​

Graham was instrumental in most of the plantings and projects in Macarthur Park including the Rose Section and Heritage Rose Section that he planned and tended to during his years of service.
