The grove of trees commemorates Garnet M. Lehmann (1936 - 1991) for his contribution to the region`s farming communities in the area of conservation.

Garnet M. Lehmann was the Director of Parks and Recreation for the Toowoomba Regional Council from April 1986 to May 1991.

Memorial Tree Planting

This tree planting grove has been dedicated in memory of Garnet M. Lehmann and in recognition of his contribution to this region`s farming communities in the adoption of conservation techniques instrumental in saving farm land from environmental degradation.
