A tribute by the City of Brighton to Frederick Albert Blackham 1874-1967, copy boy, printer, journalist, editor and proprietor of the Brighton Southern Cross, died at the age of 93 years, loving the City he helped to build by faithful and objective reporting of Brighton history as it happened for more than half a century.
Unveiled on 26th June 1967
