Chancellor's garden commemorates the work of Sir Charles Bickerton Blackburn (1874-1972), physician and university chancellor
Sir Charles Bickerton Blackburn KCMG, OBE (22 April 1874 – 20 July 1972) was an Australian university chancellor and physician. Mainly known as a long-serving chancellor and board member of the University of Sydney (he served in the university as board member from 1942 to 1964), he was also a councillor of the Australian Medical Association and the Association of Physicians of Australasia.
