The plaque commemorates James Oliver Borain who was killed in a Royal Australian Air Force training accident at Wagga in September 1940 during World War Two.  

A funeral party from No. 23 Squadron of the Royal Australian Air Force will attend the funeral of Leading Air craftsman James Oliver Borain, 18 of West End which will take place at the Crematorium, Mt. Thompson, tomorrow. Leading Aircraftsman Borain, was killed with two others when a training plane crashed at Wagga (N.S.W.) on Friday.
