Younger son of F. L. Burges of Irwin House, Irwin, who died of wounds received in the Battle of the Somme, while serving  with the 2nd Battalion Irish Guards,

17- 11 - 1895  - 19 - 09 - 1916

His memory was ever held dear by all those who knew him
