Harald Herbert Rose

19th & 18th Battalions Australian Imperial Force

Second son of Herbert John Rose (first Rector of this Parish) and Harriet Ethel, his wife.

After three months fighting at the Dardanelles died of pneumonia December 23rd 1915.  Aged 19.

Safe when all safety’s lost, and when those dear limbs die, safest of all
