 The plaque commemorates Sergeant Charles Gladman and Private William Albert Hempel who were killed in action in World War One.
Sergeant Charles Gladman was a member of the 8th Battalion and was killed in action on 20 September 1917 in Belgium. Private William Albert Hempel was also a member of the 8th Battalion and was killed in action on 4 Octoberber 1917 in Belgium
