 The plaque, containing a bas relif protrait, commemorates Colonel Frederick Neil Le Messurier (1891 - 1966) who was Commanding Officer of the Daw Park Repatriation Hospital from 1941 to 1946.
During World War One he enlisted with the Australian Army Medical Corps and was awarded the D.S.O. for his actions in France.
