The stained glass window commemorates the Reverend Frederick Newton who was Vicar of the Parish from 1906 to 1914.

A window in memory of the late Rev. Frederick W. R. Newton will be unveiled in Christ Church, Geelong by the administrator of the diocese (the Ven. Archdeacon Hindley) on Sunday, July 3. at the 11 o`clock service.
