The doors in the church commemorate Archdeacon Russell Howard Smith and were dedicated on the centenary of the church.
On 1 Jan 1998 Archdeacon Russell Howard Smith took on the task of blending five centres which had previously been parishes into the new Parish of Northern Mallee. He died on 6 May 2000.
