A plaque commemorates Sarah Fowler who was a chorister in the church for may years.
One of this city's most highly esteemed residents, Miss Sarah Sophia Fowler, of 27 The Strand, died on Wednesday, 24th ult. after an illness of only a few weeks. Deceased was born locally 79 years ago, and was a daughter of the late Capt. John and Mary Fowler, one of the pioneers of this city. She was a prominent member of Holy Trinity Church, and for many years until her death was a member of the choir.
