The plaque commemorates George Connibere who was Superintendent of the Sunday School from 1891 to 1905, and warden of the church from 1898 to 1905.
He was also Mayor of St. Kilda from 1894 to 1895.
Holy Trinity (Balaclava) Sunday school anniversary was marked by the unveiling of a memorial of the late Cr. George Connibere. Sermons were preached by the Rev. J. W. Ashton, Rev. A. Law and Rev. Canon Drought.
