The marble plaque commemorates James R. Ross, a foundation member of the church, who died in 1902.
WARWICK. November 24. Mr. James R. Ross, for nearly 40 years manager of the local branch of the Australian Joint Stock Bank, died yesterday somewhat suddenly at the age of 61. His death was not unexpected, as the deceased was suffering from heart affection for some time.
