A plaque commemorates Reverend Thomas Vesian Wallace, first Curate of the Parish, who died in 1915.

General regret was expressed in East Malvern on Wednesday at the death of the late Rev. Thomas Vesian Wallace, aged 27, which occurred at Camden, N.S.W., on the previous day, especially following so soon after the death of Canon J. B. Gason, to whom he had been a curate for five months at St. John's Church. He left East Malvern in April last to take up a similar position in Camden. He took an active interest in Church, and Sunday school work, and was very popular.
