Erected by the Congregation in appreciative memory of Edward John Smith
A member of St Peter`s for 35 years, during 32 of which he was a Committeeman and successively Secretary and Treasurer.
Talented and zealous in work; wise in counsel and in deed, he greatly promoted the welfare of this Church.
Born 25th Feb. 1852. Died 2nd Nov. 1913.
