The sanctuary lamp commemorates Margaret Ann Carter who was a foundation member of the Hostel Committee and a benefactress to the church.
A Sanctuary Lamp was dedicated on Sunday, 30th April, to the Glory of Gody, and in memory of the late Margaret Ann Carter, whose many works of charity in years gone by, earned the respect and affection of a large circle of friends and acquaintances. The Service was attended by her children - Mr. Harry Carter and Mrs. Alice Carr, and a number of friends.
