The five sided brick sanctuary and memorial stone commemorate Reverend Herbert Stubbings, who was a former vicar of the Holy Trinity Church, Murtoa. The sanctuary is located at the back of the church. 

A memorial stone to perpetuate the memory of the late Rev. Herbert Stubbings, former vicar of Holy Trinity Church, Murtoa, will be unveiled at the church on Wednesday afternoon by Archdeacon Best, of Ballarat.
