The memorial, erected over the grave site, commemorates Flora Scobie, the first European woman to live in the West Goulburn Valley.  

She lived at `Wyuna Station` for a period of time, and moved to `Honeysuckle Station` where she died when she was 35 years old. The memorial was erected by R. Green in 1965.
