Cyril Towers Print Page
Plaque commemorates Cyril Towers.
Cyril Towers was a highly accomplished rugby union centre whose international career extended from 1926 to the late 1930's, but his impact was felt long after that. Towers was a rugby strategist, and the running game he promoted at Randwick eventually influenced the Wallabies' play, contributing to their 1991 World Cup win.
