Front Inscription
This plaque was laid in memory of Richard Charles Whittaker,
A Detective Sgt of Police attached to the Gosford Drug Unit, who died of a work related illness on the 28th of September, 1991, whilst in the service of the people of New South Wales & the Central Coast Area.
Richard was born in the Point Frederick area & spent many of his childhood days in this park.
Dedicated by his family & many friends on the 16. 4. 1992.
