The memorial commemorates Gordon Ferguson who was killed in aircraft crash at Anna Creek.
The aircraft was Cessna 150F VH-DFR, which stalled during a steep turn after take off and caught fire on impact killing Mr Ferguson, the pilot and his passenger.
