Fraser Park Print Page
Fraser Park commemorates mining in the area from 1856 to 1920 which was the year that the last mine on Big Hill ceased operating before the resurgence in mining in the 1980s. The Park includes a collection of mining equipment including a steam winding engine and bucket, gig and rake, bailing tank, cage and truck which aims to interpret some of the mining heritage of the area.
