Tiaro Memorial Park Print Page
The park commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
Over the years, very little had been done locally with regard to the beautification of Tiaro and its surroundings. With the exception of the recently planted Memorial Park, which embraces "one end only" of the township, the only effort made at beautification is by a few private individuals, school and churches.
Excerpt from Maryborough Chronicle (QLD), 12 December 1949.
