The hall commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

The Coolum - Peregian RSL Sub Branch has been in operation since 19 October 1973 when its Charter was granted. A purpose built memorial hall was officially opened on 8 September 2007 and now accommodates all Sub Branch activities.
