The centrepiece is a memorial stone containing the Ode of Remembrance.

Front Inscription
We cannot stop the hands of time nor live again the past, but we shall love and think of you, as long as time shall last.
In grateful and loving memory of the men and women of Snowtown and District who gave their lives in the service of their country.
Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old,
age shall not weary them, nor the years condem,
at the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
we will remember them.
