The Oatley Memorial Gardens commemorate those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
The Gardens are approximately four hectares in size and is home to a large number of heritage trees and shrubbery. In 1941, Kogarah Municipal Council engineer, Mr Brewer drew up plans for the parkland. The Oatley Gardens War Memorial is a commemorative element within the Gardens. The gardens contain a children's playground which opened 2010.
