The War Memorial commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

A project of the Noorat and District Residents Association, the plaque has been set into a large boulder, surrounded by a garden established by the town’s garden club, and filled with Gallipoli Centenary roses and rosemary plants.

NOORAT & DISTRICT WAR MEMORIAL
Erected by the Residents of Noorat and District
In Honour of those who served in all wars
And as a lasting tribute to the memory of
those who made the supreme sacrifice.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
Officially opened on ANZAC DAY 25th April 2015
