Cathedral of the Holy CrossPrint Page 
The Cathedral of the Holy Cross was erected as a war memorial to commemorate those who served in World War One and World War Two.
The foundation stone was laid on 22nd July 1962 by the Governor, Sir Charles Gairdner and the cathedral consecrated by Bishop John Frewer on 8th March 1964.
Inside the cathedral are two brass plaques which list the names of those who died in service or were killed in action.
