The monument commemorates those from the District of Mount Schank who served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. It also commemorates World War Two soldiers settlers to the Mount Shank and Pareen area.

Mount Schank War Memorial

This monument is to perpetuate the memory of those men and women of the District of Mount Schank who served in the First and Second World Wars and in any subsequent war and to commemorate the World War 2 original soldier settlers and their families of the Mount Schank and Pareen area.
